Independent Field Sales Representative

Position Summary

JB Cosmetics is currently looking to hire an independent outside field sale representative.

Basic Requirements / Overview

- Minimum 2 years of industry experience

- Strong winning attitude and ability to work effectively in a self-motivated environment

- Strong work ethic

- Ability to listen, probe and determine customer needs

- Manages sales to major accounts by developing new prospects within a specific region of the country on behalf of JB Cosmetics

- Represents the wholesale and distribution companies with respect to promotion, sales, and service of its product line to a variety of customers within a large, defined geographical area to include new sales, advertising planning and establishing and maintaining customer relations.

- May have specialized training within a product line.

- Ensures high post-sales satisfaction facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers

- Keeps informed on new products and/or services and other general information of interest to customers and client publishers

- Informs customers of supply and price trends, and assists in inventory control

- Provides service and sales support to JB Cosmetics

- Regular travel to assigned areas and Industry trade shows and events

- Report industry trends, market requirements, customer needs and competitor developments
