Korean Churches for Community Development (KCCD) is the largest Asian American non-profit involved in church and community development with a vision to serve as a bridge between the Asian American community and the greater community at large by connecting and creating private and public collaborations in Southern California as well as on a national level all the way up to the White House. We are currently seeking a Fiscal Administrator who is results-oriented and ready to jump in with both feet. This position requires a committed individual who has strong accounting skills, along with a high degree of energy and enthusiasm and is willing to be an active member of a vibrant team of staff and volunteers. This is a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with increasing national visibility along with the opportunity to have a systematic impact on the community.

Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Fiscal Administrator is responsible for providing support for the overall administration of the organization's operating budget as well as providing support in overseeing various grant contracts for compliance and judicious management of government contracts. In addition, the Fiscal Administrator will also be responsible for providing general administrative and office management duties such as vendor contracts and other organizational operation responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

Primary Responsibilities:

¡Ü Maintenance and monitoring of organization¡¯s fiscal system and performing routine accounting functions.
¡Ü Meeting assignment objectives daily, weekly, and monthly, including accounting and expenditure reports and financial statements.
¡Ü Experience with budget forecasting a plus.
¡Ü Assist with independent financial audits
¡Ü Effectively review documents for completeness, accuracy, compliance with regulations and procedures.
¡Ü Assist in the review of government contracts and fiscal reports.
¡Ü Assist in monitoring fiscal budget of the grants awarded to various organizations; prepare reports accordingly.
¡Ü Assist with payroll functions, invoice approvals, and payments.
¡Ü Engage in identification and selection of vendor relationships, preparing contracts accordingly
¡Ü Assist with general office maintenance and administrative duties, including answering phones, assisting with inventory and ordering of office supplies, as well as providing assistance in coordinating employee parking cards.
¡Ü Attend team meetings and support the objectives of KCCD.
¡Ü Perform other duties and special projects as required including contribution and participation in organization wide events. Assist with projects and duties as they are assigned.

Requirements:
¡Ü Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent in experience within accounting or non-profit.
¡Ü Works well under minimal supervision by taking initiative, ensuring successful project management and timely completion with ability to maintain quality work standards with a high volume of work.
¡Ü Familiarity with general accounting practices and experience with non-profit accounting software a huge plus.
¡Ü Experience with a variety of general ledger software programs such as Quickbooks.
¡Ü Assess financial and accounting issues and recommend solutions.
¡Ü Strong computer skills and technical knowledge
¡Ü Flexibility and ability to work in an environment where each staff assumes multiple responsibilities. Work well in a fast paced environment, in a team setting and meet deadlines.
¡Ü Effective communication skills. Ability to demonstrate professionalism in all settings.
