As a Intekplus America Field Service Engineer, you will be installing, training, performing maintain service and upgrading, and introducing for new customers the latest technology semiconductor visual inspection equipment for some of the global leaders in the industry. You will receive extensive training to get started in the position and for continuous development throughout your career. You will be a contributing member in a fast-growing global team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade and repair automatic visual inspection machines
- Validate and negotiate customer request
- Educate customer and field technicians
- Maintenance faults in an expedited manner to return equipment to fully operational
- Answer calls for technical support via telephone and email
- Provide preventative maintenance of equipment
- Propose, perform, and evaluate effective DOEs to resolve problems and for improvement
- Collaborate with HQs engineering team to satisfy customers
- Write documentation used by customers or field technicians
- Perform equipment evaluations for new customers
- Orders all parts and maintain stocking for both consumable and non-consumable items
- Provide customer support to work day on-site and 24/7 emergency support
- Report on manager requests
YOU MUST HAVE
- High School Diploma
- Safety mentality
- 3+ years of high-tech microprocessor-controlled robot equipment Field Service Technician/Installation experience
- Strong electrical and computer system background, and diagnostic experience
- Good mechanical proficiency with hand tools including precision measurement tools
- Strong Microsoft excel, PowerPoint, and SPC software skills
- Demonstrated organizational understanding, communication acumen, and facilitation skills within team setting
- Strong positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of structured problem-solving techniques
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understand and utilize technical documentation, schematics, electrical drawings, and blueprint
WE VALUE
- Bachelors or Associates Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math
- High personal drive to understand and meet customer needs in balance with business requirements
- Some experience in Semiconductor, Industrial environments, or similar military systems is desirable
- Experienced with High Tech manufacturing processes, or related research facilities
- Good presentation skills
- Second language speaking, writing, reading skills - Korean
