Looking for Electrical Engineers

We’re Korea based mid size manufacturer of Electrical Power Box manufacturer for Semiconductor, Telecommunication & ESS application. For Semiconductor Power Boxes, we’re supplier to Lam Research, and in the course of establishing engineering support capability locally in CA, USA.

We’re looking for experienced electrical engineers residing in SF Bay area to join our CA Engineering Office to perform roles described below.

1. Sr. Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

Interact with customer (Lam Research) to define NPI (New Product Introduction) requirements, develop execution plans to meet customer requirements.
Lead design, develops, modifies and evaluate parts, components and modules of Electrical Power Supply units (AC/DC, High Power 300-200V) for Semiconductor process equipments. Determines design approaches and parameters, conduct experimental tests and evaluates results.
Develop electrical hardware modules,, select components & required materials based on analysis of specification and reliability per customer requirement for Prototype Power Box build and develop BOM & build SOE together with mechanical engineer as a team.
Manage overall development project schedule.
Transfer Build SOE & BOM to Korea for volume production.
Apply & manage UL Certification process in case required
Perform office manager function with various managerial tasks
Periodic report of development progress for each project and managerial issues to Korean HQ and/or regional HQ.

Qualification:

SF Bay area resident with native English capability
Electrical Engineering degree, Bachelor or higher
Min. 5 years of work experience in electrical hardware/system manufacturing industry as engineer
Capable of overseas travel
English & Korean bilingual capability is advantage

2. Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

Design, develops, modifies and evaluate sheet-metal enclosures of Electrical Power Boxes (AC/DC, High Power 300-200V) for Semiconductor process equipments. Determines design approaches and parameters, conduct experimental tests and evaluates results.
Co-work with Senior Electrical Engineer as a team.
Select components & required materials based on analysis of specification and reliability per customer requirement for Prototype Power Box build
Interact with suppliers (sheet metal fabricator, painting & plating shop) to achieve quality requirements of prototype build.

Qualification:

SF Bay area resident
Bilingual (English & Korean) capability
Mechanical Engineering degree, Bachelor or above
Experience and capability of 3D modeling and CAD design
Min. 3 years as mechanical engineer in related industry
Capable of overseas travel
