Hyundai Glovis Georgia is an integrated logistics company in West Point, Georgia. We provide Tier 1 logistic, warehousing and inventory
support to Kia Motors Manufacturing. Our primary responsibilities include providing Just in Sequence and Just in Time services to our
customers. We currently have an opening for a 2nd shift (2:30 pm – 10:45 pm) Bilingual (English/Korean) Training Specialist.
Minimum Skills:
-BS or BA Degree but will consider experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient
to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
-1-3 years experience as a trainer, preferably in the automotive industry.
-A strong understanding of warehouse operations and procedures.
-Ability to publish SOP's and Work Instructions for current Operations procedures and
maintain and update published SOP's and Work Instructions so that they remain current with any process changes made.
-Must have proven experience in being responsible for making decisions and resolving issues quickly.
-Must have experience working directly with all levels of Team Members within a company.
-Proven ability to prioritize and work through multiple projects in a timely manner.
-Must be able to function and adapt to an every changing environment.
-Must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint including the ability to create reports, graphs and to work with pivot tables.
-Must be able to work overtime as needed including weekends.
-Must be able to read, write and speak Korean.
Preferred Skills:
-Experience with Just in Time and Just in Sequence operations systems in an automotive environment.
Job Responsibilities:
-Write/update SOP's and work instructions which will aid both current and newly hired
Team Members to learn and understand general operating procedures.
-Coordinate training class schedules with Manager, Supervisors and HR.
-Create and train Team Members on requested topics.
-Evaluate and certify Team Members to operate Powered Industrial Vehicles.
-Assist with the development and implementation of procedures as they relate to the unctions of the CC.
-Assist with preparing three panels and needed countermeasures requested for management.
-Collect and provide Operations data and tabulate information for publishing and analysis
(Sequence Error Report, Monthly Chargeback Report, Down Time Report, KPI, etc.)
-Audit all departments for compliance with procedures by Team Members and assist with facilitating systems improvements
in the warehouse.
-Monitoring of PEMS and support Operations' investigation needs (Line Stops, Dropped Parts, etc.).
