OBJECTIVE: 
Seeking Operation Assistant to support the new Merchant Cash Advance business model. This person will mainly function in full operation supporting daily operations activities including processing, account reconciliation, adjustments, new accounts, electronic banking and assisting Managers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The following is a list of essential functions, which may be subject to change at any time and without advance notice. Management may assign new tasks, reassign existing tasks, or eliminate a function.

Performing daily processing activities for operational processing.

Assist in the assessment of new deals before term sheet issuance (financial statement analysis and financial modeling, transaction structuring and pricing, participate in meetings with prospects, complete pre-screen credit approval packages, etc)

Co-Op with other company members as needed; 3rd Party Risk, cancellation, funding and collections.

Examine, identify and evaluate exposures by analyzing documentation from various sources and decide to accept, decline, or modify risks within the territory. Implements underwriting decisions in compliance with state laws and company guidelines.

Gathers data to assist with preparation of key reports; distributes as required.

Maintain Client information files and core factor system parameters.

Performs data entry responsibilities related to factor systems.

Providing routine clerical and administrative support to the Officers.

Reviews completed documentation for accuracy and completeness; requests corrections as necessary.

Scrutinize through all documents to minimize fraudulent applications.

Able to answer phone in professional manner and appropriately return calls to prospect/client.

Other duties and special task as assigned.

JOB FUNCTION AND DEFINITION

Additional Application Processing – Receiving applications and assigning priorities for application processing. Assign to designated departments and teams in company or 3rd party company for further processing, results and feedbacks.

Computer Skills – To perform this job successfully, an individual should have excellent knowledge of word processing and analytical spreadsheets.

Data Integration -- combining, editing, categorizing, calculating, auditing, or verifying information or data from all relevant sources.

Decision Making – Able to have the ability to exercise independent judgment and to make critical decisions during the process of underwriting.

Documenting/Writing Information – Writing articles; Weekly Tips and Hints, case analysis report on declined applications.

Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships -- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with sales, merchants and members from other departments.

Financial Statement Analysis – Ability to interpret financial statements, including but not limited to, personal credit report, bank statement, conversion statement, and business report

Interacting With Computers -- Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) and internet resources to enter verify merchant info and to process information.

Judgment Ability – Excellent judgment skills necessary for work at this level characterized by freedom control or guidance while work is in progress. Problem arising in the course of work and alternate methods are discussed mutually with superiors. Major work is reviewed by managers for technical and general adequacy.

Language Ability – Ability to read, analyze, and effectively and professionally communicate in English. Ability to interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability – Strong ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability -- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Underwriting Processing – Examining applications, interpreting financial statements; personal credit reports, bank statements, conversion statements, and business reports. Figuring out how merchant operates their business, and decide whether MAP should approve or decline the application.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience: Prefer BA in finance/business or minimum three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This position requires a minimum of one to three years of recent experience working in Financial Operations. Bilingual (Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese and etc.) is a definite plus for this position.
