Kwangdong USA : Brand Representative

Kwangdong USA Inc. is looking for active, dynamic and passionate professionals to join the newly created Kwangdong USA family as a Brand Representative. We are a US subsidiary of Kwangdong Pharm Co., Ltd. based in Korea renowned for its pharmaceutical products as well as its healthy and refreshing beverage, namely - VITA500 - sold in billions of units across 28 countries every year. The US company was recently established as a part of a global market expansion initiative with aim to spearhead the US sales and marketing operations. We are seeking active and dynamic individuals who will be willing to take on multi-tasking roles as the company is expected to grow at an aggressive pace.
Pre-Requisite Requirements
- Passion and commitment to building a beloved brand in the US market
- A positive attitude, team driven, a self-starter, passionate, high energy, resourceful, responsible, flexible, and strong organization skills
- Preferred 3+ years field sales & merchandising experience in Beverage or Snack and Food Industry
- 4-year College or University Degree
- Ability to work in a mobile environment and navigate all over US (extensive local travel with some overnight trips based on needs)
- Excellent Bi-Lingual communication skills in Korean and English
- Capable of analyzing information and assembling presentations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Outlook) and ability to learn proprietary software applications
- Clean driving record required and must be able to travel within US and abroad
Core Responsibilities
Field Sales & Business Development
- Must be able to build relationships with key retail store personnel to deliver against the company¡¯s objectives at retail, closing brand voids, securing promotional coolers, improving shelf placement, ensuring price points are displayed, introducing new products etc.
- You will be required to seek new business opportunities, support local distributor partners in securing new business, providing sales training and merchandising support to assigned distributors.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals as well as track account receivables.
Ensure Executional Excellence at Retail
- Responsible for regular merchandising duties at store level, which include areas such as stocking and rotating product, placement of POS materials, execute resets, building displays, introducing new products, etc.
Oversee inventory and flow of products
- Manage inventory level to ensure smooth flow of product through retail
- Liaise with colleagues in the Korean HQ to place orders, prepare import documents and track shipments to the US warehouse.
Establish Distributor Partnerships
- Identify, evaluate and contract distributors at regional and local groups that covers the entire US territories.
- Work hand in hand with our sales reps and distributors to forge relationships at store level to support merchandising and selling efforts.
- Build a strong line of communication and understanding with distributors, sales personnel, and retail employees.
- Conduct scheduled route rides with distributors and manage retail sales
- Leverage partnerships to keep track of accounts payment and receivables and develop & secure new business opportunities.
Be an Avid Brand Ambassador.
- Engage consumers, trade partners and the community through periodic in-store demos, and events, within the assigned market.
