Accounting Manager¡¯s Job Description and Requirements

Position Summary:

As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Accounting manager will report to the CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The Accounting manager will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, costing, legal, deal analysis, negotiations, bank relationships, partnership compliance, private and institutional financing, HR management, staff management in accounting, office administration and HR team and company administration job for general affair.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Supervise and help prepare monthly closings, monthly financial & annual financial statements and supporting schedules according to an established accounting and tax reporting calendar.

2.Monitor general ledger and all sub ledgers to ensure all accounts and supporting schedules are reconciled

3.Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.

4.Provide analytical review of the balance sheet, income statement, work-in-process schedule and statement of cash flow

5.Responsible for reporting compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations and ensure compliance with GAAP

6.Develop, document and implement adequate and effective internal financial controls

7.A hand-on approach to improving business process

8.Oversee the tax reporting and compliance functions working

9.Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.

10.Oversee sales commission and inventory control management including affiliates

11.Manage, mentor and coach a team of accounting professionals

12.Supervision of accounts payable and receivable processing including collection for IT Solutions products

13.Overall management of Accounting, Finance, Administration and HR teams

14.Function as a financial management link between the company and affiliates

15.Coordinate all audit activity by third-party auditors

16.Oversee affiliated entity financial activity, cash flow and their ledger

17.Responsible for annual budget preparation; and direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions

18.Develop standardized accounting policies and procedures for company and its affiliates which included centralizing processing of Accounts      Payable and Receivable and ADAP payroll processing

19.Hiring, training and retaining competent accounting staff at the corporate level

20.HR management responsibilities including HR staffs

21.Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas

22.Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.

23.Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.

24.Assess debt and equity financing proposals and alternatives


QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles

2.Preferred to bachelor's degree in Accounting with at least 10 years of related experience.

3.CPA certification preferred.

4.Must have an in-depth understanding of statutory requirements, GAAP, FASB, and accounting standards and pronouncements.

5.Must have experience managing and developing a staff of finance professionals.

6.Must be computer literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, corporate reporting software and a working knowledge of PowerPoint        and Word.

7.Experience with SAP or JD Edwards is a real plus. IT software industry experience would be a highly plus.

8.Self-starter with exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.

9.Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain control and order of all assignments.
