Achro – Assistant Designer

ACHRO is a contemporary women's clothing brand located in Arts District, Los Angeles. Our ideal candidate for Assistant 

Designer position must be eager to learn and have strong interest in women’s fashion industry.

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

- Fabric/trim research & sourcing based on direction from designer 

- Order and track sample yardage and trims

- Execute accurate technical packages

- Assist designers on development of collection

- Assist with approvals for lab-dips and comments

- Create Color cards and follow up with buyers

- Confirm measurements for P.P. and T.O.P. samples

- Assist with general design process from development to final sample

Qualifications

- Ideal candidate must have fashion design education background

- Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills

- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multi task

- Proficient knowledge of apparel construction, trims, fabrics and techniques

- Mac proficient with knowledge of Illustrator and InDesign.

- Ability to recognize and react to changing design and work demands at any given time

- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency

- Previous design experience helpful but not required
