Our Story

Our journey started when Taebin Jung and Hyunsook Jung, the cofounders of business, traveled to California from South Korea in 1998 to see how the US floral world was moving.

Based on Mr. and Mrs. Jung’s 15 years of experiences at plants and orchids business in South Korea, they believed that they would be able to provide high quality hand-grown orchids to the US market.

In 1999, Mr. and Mrs. Jung founded Dash Dream Plant in Central Valley and put up our first greenhouses. At the very beginning, we grew Phalaenopsis, Dendrobium, and Western & Oriental Cymbidium in 70,000 ft2 greenhouses.

Being as immigrants, finding everyone’s favorite orchids was very challenging to us. Then, Mr. and Mrs. Jung decided to find “easy to care” and “long-lasting” varieties from all over the world.

In 2004, we converted our main orchid growing programs to Phalaenopsis varieties, which were the world’s most popular orchids for a-year-around enjoyment. Then, all the greenhouses were gradually fully equipped with heating, cooling and filtered watering units, which were able to provide the orchids’ most favorable growing conditions.

We did not want to merely focus on providing single pottery orchids to the customers. So, we have invented several “Orchid Gardens” to bring diversities for the past several years.

Today, our expert growing teams proudly grow millions of high-quality orchids in roughly 500,000 ft2 greenhouses. We are not only dedicating to grow orchids, but also dealing with numerous tropical dracaena plants.
