Dongguk (which translates to “East Nation”) University, one of South Korea’s oldest and one of the nation’s eleven prestigious medical schools, widely esteemed for its outstanding College of Oriental Medicine, adopted Dongguk University Los Angeles to develop collaborative benefits between the sister institutions. Collectively, these two institutions, on either side of the Pacific, have been providing outstanding education to students throughout the world.

DULA has a vibrant student body, hailing from across the globe. DULA offers the intimacy of a small school with the resources of a large institution. DULA has trained thousands of practitioners helping people all over the world.

DULA is accredited and approved by the appropriate governing agencies. DULA offers an accredited Master of Science in Oriental Medicine degree in three different language tracks; English, Korean, or Chinese, and a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine which has gone through the ACAOM-substantive-change process. DULA is the only Oriental Medicine school in the United States that is associated with the prestigious Donguuk University in South Korea: a world-class center of learning with over a century of proud tradition.

Our faculty are recognized as leaders in their fields.  That level of experience is just another factor that sets DULA apart. Students receive extensive clinical training as interns, where they can observe and participate in the treatment of patients. As part of DULA’s strategic plan, DULA will soon be launching the only exchange program of its kind in the U.S., where doctoral students can receive training at integrative medical centers at Dongguk University in South Korea.
