COMPANY INFORMATION

MOBIS Parts America, LLC (MPA), an affiliate of Hyundai and Kia, serves as the exclusive supplier of OE parts and accessories to Kia Motors America (KMA) and Hyundai Motor America (HMA). MPA began in 2004 as a single facility providing distribution services for Latin America and the Accessory Division and has grown steadily, eventually merging with the parts operations of HMA/KMA in 2009.  MOBIS Parts America currently operates eight distribution centers in the United States.  

Hyundai Mobis is Headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, Hyundai MOBIS began as Hyundai Precision Industry in 1977 and went on to become the world’s top container producer. After turning its focus to the automobile sector, in the 1990s the company produced recreational vehicles. The company later reinvented itself as an auto parts specialist. In 2000, the company was renamed MOBIS and has since become a major automotive parts company offering after-sales service parts distribution, auto parts export, and module manufacturing. Recognizing that future technologies for automobiles will require a systematic, integrated approach for both mechanical and electronic components, the company merged with Hyundai Autonet (automotive electronics manufacturing) in 2009. As a leader in the auto parts sector, MOBIS is well-positioned to achieve its goal of becoming a “Global Top 5.”
