KG Steel was founded as the first Korean manufacturer of cold rolled steel in 1967 and has been supplying the cold rolled, tinplate, and pre-painted steel to customers such as automobile, home appliances, and construction over the past half-century with a total annual capacity of 2.4 million metric tons.

KG Steel USA, INC established its subsidiary branch in the state of California in 1991, to sale and distribute various steel products in the United States of America maintaining head office in Fountain Valley city.
